This series of workshops, conducted by our naturopath and gardener, have a focus on nutrition. Each workshop in the series revolves around a particular topic or theme. The health benefits and nutritional value of various herbs, vegetables and fruits are explored; practical tips and techniques are provided in cooking, preparing, preserving and storing foods while gardening advice is provided around planting and growing.

Our next Kitchen Garden Remedies Workshop is:
Cheap, Nutritious and Delicious – Winter Harvest

Join us in creating casseroles, stews and soups using traditional winter veggies such as parsnips, turnips, swedes, potatoes as well as pearl barley, split peas and lentils.
Learn how to make broth and stock which can be used as a base for a number of hearty and wholesome dishes. Come and enjoy earthy meals made from fresh produce and plenty of love.

Bonus – take home pack of soup mix for each participant.
