This series of workshops, conducted by our naturopath and gardener, have a focus on nutrition. Each workshop in the series revolves around a particular topic or theme. The health benefits and nutritional value of various herbs, vegetables and fruits are explored; practical tips and techniques are provided in cooking, preparing, preserving and storing foods while gardening advice is provided around planting and growing.

Veg out this Summer

Who said veggies had to be boring? Let’s look at fun ways to use in season, summer vegetables for every meal of the day. We’ll be taking a close look a beetroot, capsicum, lettuce, radish, tomatoes, cabbage, cucumber, parsley, sweetcorn and zucchini. Learn how to plant, care for and harvest these vegetables. Join us in creating some amazing dishes that are low cost, easy to prepare and gluten free.
