YOGA IS BACK

Explore effective and simple Yoga practices to transform your responses to the challenges of daily life. Instill some peace in your day, increase your vitality, improve your health, relationships and well being through Yoga techniques.

ART THERAPY

Art therapy can support women to understand and embody the stories of their lives. This group will use art therapy techniques to explore options for change, enhance decision making, self development, physical and emotional health and support resolution of issues affecting wellbeing and happiness.

LAUGHTER CLUB

A laughter club? You must be joking!! Well, we’re not. Academics estimate that we now laugh a quarter as much as we did in the 1930s. Laughter has many health benefits such as release of natural hormones called endorphins that lift mood and assist in well being. So come and drop in to laughter club.

KITCHEN GARDEN REMEDIES - THE MINT FAMILY

During National Herbal Medicine Week, come and learn how to plant basil, oregano, marjoram and lemon balm and learn about their uses in cooking and in health. Bring your favourite recipe using one of these four herbs to share with the group.

LIFE BEGINS @ MIDLIFE & MENOPAUSE

This workshop will explore the nutritional, herbal and medical management of menopause, offer health maintenance strategies for healthy hearts and bones, provide information on preventative health checks and practical tips to de-stress and enjoy a new lease on life.

Maintain and build your balance and flexibility through the practice of this gentle exercise. Wear loose comfortable clothes.

THE MANDALA

The 'Mandala' or 'magic circle' is a symbol of the individual psyche, and the universal psyche connected to our own. This can be seen in the paths of stars and planets, in ritual and ceremonial circles, in the life cycle, the journey or flight of the soul, in the seasons, spheres or realms of being, in the earth itself, and as a journey around our own psyches.

GLORY MASK WORKSHOP

In this workshop, we will be making a physical face mask. This exercise is performed with the intent of bringing the face to life as an embodiment of the glory and the transformational power which exists in our selves.
